'Fitness Over 50 | 15.44 miles | Bicycles Back After Two Weeks'

'After two weeks without our bicycles, this episode of fitness over 50 finds my wife and myself back on our Specialized bicycles.  In fairness to the Bonney Lake Bike Shop, I took them end the week before the 4th of July and they told me it would be a week before they could get to them. My wife was going to be busy and wouldn\'t be able to ride anyway, and I have my Genesis GS29 as a backup.  The 5th of July the chop called to tell me that my rear wheel was so badly damaged that it would have to be replaced and that it would take them another week to get the parts to build the wheel. I ok\'s them ordering both front and back so they matched. My wife\'s bike rattled like it was going to fall apart on this 15.44 miles ride. I was pretty frustrated by it but, when I checked it out at home, I think it is the aftermarket kickstand I put on her bicycle. I think I got it fixed.  My bicycle seemed to shift better, but not perfectly and it still makes some of the sounds it made when I took it in.  I joined a bikeforums.net (I am not sure I would recommend that to anybody - they are a cut throat bunch!) They tell me that the bike shop is bilking me. I have wondered about that, but I just don\'t get that impression from them. I think I just got a bicycle that isn\'t quite right. It happens sometimes when you buy a new anything.  I give my YouTube vlogs the main title of \"Fitness Over 50.\" It is my goal to build a community of like minded riders whose purpose is to get and stay active and fit into their senior years. At 59, I see myself as just entering those years. I am not as fit as I would like to be, but neither am I trying to become a superstar athlete. I am becoming more fit all the time with: -Regular cycling,  -Frequent resistance training and  -Ketogenic/Intermittent Fast eating  are the main elements to my fitness plan.
